Mark Stephen Gullett

Mark Stephen Gullett, 71, of Flint, Michigan, passed away October 8, 2025 at home surrounded by loved ones. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, October 13, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. The funeral service may be viewed online here. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday and from 10 Am - 11 AM Monday at the funeral home. Mark was a devoted husband to his wife, Kelly, and a proud father to Michael Gullett of Georgia, Rory Gullett (Mallory) of Flint, Katherine (RC) Hunt of Oxford, Josephine Irwin of Flint, and Kimberly Sullivan of Flint. He is also survived by his loving sister, Marilyn Kissel of Fenton, and sister and brother-in-law, Verna and Dan Rinker of Anderson, Indiana; his mother-in-law, Mary Lou Daher of Tennessee. His sisters-in-law are: Colleen (Sidney) Grant of Texas, Jamie McLenaghan of Tennessee, and Mary (Jon) Kulelski of Saginaw. Mark cherished his grandchildren — Austin, Jaxon, Taylor, Madison, Jalen, Waylon, Connor, Abbie, Landen, Ellie, Mariah, and Tyson — along with many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Pauline Gullett. Mark retired from General Motors after 36 years of dedicated service. He was a Flint Township volunteer firefighter of 10 years. Known for his hard work and generous heart, he loved classic cars and spent many weekends at car shows, sharing stories and admiration with fellow collectors. Mark also enjoyed antique collecting and looked forward to gatherings with his “Friday Night Dinner Club,” a close-knit group of friends who became like family over the years. Every holiday season, Mark could be found decorating his yard with festive inflatables, bringing joy to his neighborhood — with Halloween being his absolute favorite.
