Mark Logan Mumford

Mark L. Mumford, age 74, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 26, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 5, 1951, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Ralph and Eve Mumford.

Mark worked at General Motors for 31 years. He lived life on his own terms, made fun out of everything, and never missed a chance to celebrate. He had a generous heart, a great sense of humor, and a deep love for his family.

He is survived by his sister, Cindy (Jim) Fuoss; his niece, Wendy Skinner; his daughters, Tracy (Jim) Smith, Corren (Tony) Orefice, and Tina (Brandon) Cameron; and his adopted daughter, Kelly Koon. He also leaves behind many cherished grandchildren-Brandon, Tylor, Leila, Cody, Sage, Madison, Sophia, Alivia, Teidon, Scott, and Kayla Rae-and great-grandchildren Maxx, Mason, and Sophia.

Life was always a little louder, a little funnier, and a lot better with him in it-and it always will be because of the love, laughter, and memories he leaves behind.

A Celebration of Mark's Life will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, April 10, 2026 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48507. Memorial visitation will be from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mark to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
