Mark Allen Veselsky

Mark Allen Veselsky, of Mesick and formerly of Gaines, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He was 72 years old.

Born March 7, 1954, in Flint, he was the son of Edward Paul and Earline Elizabeth (Couturier) Veselsky. Mark married Pamela Lynn Summers on December 21, 1973, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Swartz Creek and together they spent a wonderful 52 years together. Mark was retired from the GM V8 and Flint Engine South plant where he worked in the skilled trades as a machinist for 43 years. Mark loved hunting, fishing, farming his land and tinkering on his tractor, riding 4 wheelers with his grandkids especially, time spent with them and the entire family was his greatest joy.

Mark is survived by his wife Pamela; daughter Kristin Veselsky; son Aaron Veselsky and his wife Sarah; four grandchildren, Lucas, Sophia, Luna and Theodore; a sister Linda Veselsky Miller; two brothers David Veselsky and his wife Norma and Bernard Veselsky and his wife Tammy as well as many nieces and nephews and their families who loved him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Edward Veselsky Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 6:00pm at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473. There will be visitation on Wednesday June 3, 2026, from 2:00-8:00pm.
