BARTOS, Marlene Jean - Age 68, of Holly formerly of Hamburg and Wayne, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 1-9 PM and Sunday from 12-2 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Marlene J. Bartos Memorial Fund. Marlene was born September 23, 1944 in Detroit, the daughter of Michael and Margaret (Couturier) Rice. She married Joe Bartos October 10, 1960 in Dearborn Heights. She had resided in Holly for the past 2 years coming from Hamburg and Wayne. Surviving are: husband, Joe; 2 children, Michael and wife Denise Bartos of Ortonville and Rhonda and husband Steve Janos of Pinckney; 6 grandchildren, Joe Bartos of Ortonville, Karri and husband Andy MacMillan of Chicago, IL, Michael Bartos of Ortonville, Matthew Janos of Pinckney, Danielle Bartos of Ortonville, and Aaron Bartos of Ortonville; 3 sisters, Audrey Ostrander of Taylor, Shirley Opasik of Livonia, and Jackie and husband Larry Wilkie of Waterford; several nieces and nephews.
