Martha May Forshee

Forshee, Martha May - Age 79, of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Atlanta, Michigan, died August 30, 2013. Funeral services will be held 12:30PM Friday, September 6, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Roger Steele officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 4PM - 8PM Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Foundation. Martha was born in Cairo, Illinois the daughter of the late Samuel R. and Vivian R. (Martin) Dively. Martha was a cook and waitress for over 20 years, she was employed at Sir James Restaurant, Millies Restaurant, and as a head cook for Durand area Schools. Mrs. Forshee was a Lioness Club charter member of Lennon, village trustee, and coached softball in Lennon. She also enjoyed playing bingo. Surviving are: husband, Wayne E. Forshee; children, Margaret Ruth Cramer, Robert E. (Janice) Forshee, Gaylord Dean (Nancy) Forshee, Joy Ann (Kim) Voeks, Alayne Denise (Tim) Moffitt, Gayle June (Howard Neill); 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; 7 sisters; 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by; grandson Keith Allen Forshee; brothers in law, Gearld Mitchell and Richard (Rich) Goff.
