ALLEN, Martin J - age 90 of Swartz Creek, passed away on March 18, 2024, at Springvale Assisted Living. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Martin will be laid to rest at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Martin's memory to www.adoptapetfenton.com. Martin was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Hamady Brothers Super Market as a manger after 33 years of service, then had a Little Debbie route for 10 years and owned Dye Road Storage for 19 years with his son. He is survived by: children, John Allen of Presque Isle and Carol (Joseph) Hawks of Flushing; granddaughter, Jennifer Wilder of Phoenix AZ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Joan Allen on April 14, 2023. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Springvale Assisted Living for their kindness and care.
