SPEARS, Marty J. - age 34, of Durand, died Monday, December 22, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Services will be held 2 PM Monday, December 29, 2014 at The Rock Church, 11400 Linden Road, Fenton with Pastor Wes Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will also be held 1 PM - 2 PM Monday at The Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marty Spears memorial fund. Marty was born October 10, 1980 in Flint. He was a graduate of Linden High School and a member of Pipefitters Local 370. Surviving are: father, Morris J. Spears, Jr. of Durand; mother, Cindy (Jim) Ford of Grand Blanc; three siblings, Brandee (Ben) Ahlson of CA, Morris (Mandy) Spears, III of Durand, Matthew Spears of Burton; nieces, Jordan, Madeline, Martha, and Meghan; nephews, Christian and Morris IV "Gunner".
