WILSON, Marvin Walter - Age 82, of Fenton, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025. A memorial gathering will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Monday, December 1, 2025 from 12 PM - 2 PM, with a family prayer concluding. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly 2:30 PM Monday, December 1, 2025.
Marvin was born December 21, 1942 in Detroit, the son of Marvin and Mary (Dubanik) Wilson. He was a 1960 graduate of Walled Lake Central in Walled Lake. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force from 1961-1964. He married Maria Ann Moore May 16, 1964 in England. He had resided in Fenton for the past year coming from Howell. Marvin retired from Hi-Mill Manufacturing in Highland as a Tool Maker and Engineer. He was a member and Quarter Master of Wixom V.F.W. He enjoyed golfing, square dancing, calling bingo, playing cards especially Euchre.
Surviving are: his wife of 61 years, Maria; children, Deborah (Douglas) Wilson-Hill of Fenton, Tamara Wilson of Holly and Daniel Wilson of Arizona; grandchildren, Taylor Hill, Ryan Hill, Michael (Marshall) Wilson, Daniel Wilson and Nicholas Wilson; great grandchildren, Kennedi, Sloane and Ridley Griffin and Malcolm and Matthew Wilson; Sibling, Ronald (Jan) Wilson of Arizona, Dennis (Dale) Wilson of Tennessee, Dorothy Johnson of Texas and David (Diane) Wilson of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Mary Wilson; granddaughter, Mykayla Wilson; sisters, Maryanne Wilson and Lynette Wilson; and brother, Robert Wilson. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
