Mary Louise Briggs

BRIGGS, Mary Louise - Age 86, of Fenton, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025. Graveside services have been held at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet, 13575 Fenton Road, Fenton, MI 48430.

Mary was born January 30, 1939 in Fenton, the daughter of Gerald Keith and Carolyn Patricia (Bowman) Lanning. She married Jack Oliver Briggs October 30, 1964 in Fenton and he preceded her in death December 17, 2024. She had resided in Fenton most of her life. She enjoyed crafting, horseback riding and was an avid sewer.

Surviving are: her children, Leo (Ginny) Kinne of Gaines, Chris (Kim) Kinne of Gaines, Rhonda Fisk of Flint, Tina (Mike) Robertson of Burton, Shelly Briggs (Mark Montreuil) of Highland and Michael (Sharon) Briggs of Linden; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Carolyn Lanning; brothers, Gary and John Lanning; and sister, Elaine Parylak. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
