Mary Louise Harrington

HARRINGTON, Mary Louise - age 85, of Flint, died March 17, 2024 at Hurley Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Mary was born  February 12, 1939, the daughter of Billy and Mary Belle Hancock. She married the love of her life James John Howard and together they raised 5 wonderful daughters and shared 56 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2023. Mary was in the restaurant industry for many years. She was the manager of Mr. Gibby's in Flint as well as many other restaurant in the area. Mary enjoyed flowers, gardening and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are: five daughters, Mary Jane French, Jean Culbertson, Jamie Lynn Hunt, Jacqueline Ann (Steven) Wellisley and Jennifer Evelyn Korsten; grandchildren, Kara, JJ, Christina, Amy, Marco, Merrit, Mathew, Ariel, Alex, Andrew, and Ian; many great-grandchildren; brother, Edgar Lorn Hancock; sister, Joy; and sister-in-law, Dot Hancock.
