Mary Catherine HOLT

HOLT, Mary Catherine (O'Rourke) - age 74 of Flint, formerly of Paw Paw, died Friday, February 14, 2014 at Willowbrook Manor. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, February 17, 2014 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G-3139 Hogarth Ave., Flint with Fr. Robert Copeland officiating. Interment will be held at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM. Ms. Holt was born September 4, 1939 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of James Daniel and Mary Agnes (Quinn) O'Rourke. She retired from Welch's Food in 1998. Mary enjoyed bingo and casino trips but mostly spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are: four children, Leslie (Tom) Haney of Flint, Theresa (Jim) Clifford of Chicago, Terrence (Jill) Placier of Chicago, Mary Placier of Homewood, IL; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, James (Patricia) O'Rourke of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Salas. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Willowbrook Manor and Heartland Hospice.
