JEFFERS, Mary Jane - Age 83, of Linden, died January 21, 2017. Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, January 25 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Mary was born January 13, 1934 in Flint, the daughter of Elmer and Beulah (Switzer) Courter. She graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1952. Mary married James F. Jeffers in Flint on June 20, 1953. She was a resident of Linden since 1969. Mary enjoyed working crossword puzzles and "Loved and Protected Nature." She is survived by her husband, James; children, Jim Jeffers, Vicki Jeffers, Joe(Renae) Jeffers, Jess(Starr) Jeffers, and Shannon (Scott) Baxter; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Edna) Courter; and many nieces and nephews.
