Mary Kachman

Mary Kachman, 62, of Fenton, Michigan passed away on September 24, 2021.

Beloved wife of James Murphy for 43 years, and amazing mother to Shauna Murphy (Les), Kristen Murphy-Naspinsky (Brian), Jenna Murphy (AJ), Jaime Murphy Dawson (Drew), and Neil Murphy (Carrie).  Devoted and loving grandmother (“Gram”) to Aubrey, Maxwell, Lucas, Adeline, Owen, Charlotte, Lila, Ryan, Elisabeth, and Miles.

Mary was the best mom and wife in the whole world, a fun and loyal friend, and a highly skilled and talented artist.  She dedicated her career to teaching as a Fine Arts Teacher with Flint Community Schools for over 20 years, recently teaching at Flint Southwestern Classical Academy.  A private memorial will be held by the family on a later date.
