Mary Marie Johnson

JOHNSON, Mary Marie - age 83, of Fenton, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025. Private family services will be held. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton.

Mary was born June 23, 1942 in Flint, the daughter of John William Walsh and Gertrude Leona (Turner) Walsh. She married Steven Johnson on June 13, 1981. Mary worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Ambler. She was very active with the TOPS program in Fenton. Mary loved to read, watch movies, and was very fond of adult coloring books in her later years. Most of all, she was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, aunt and sister.

She is survived by: her husband of 44 years, Steven Johnson; five children, Myra Boyd of Linden, Lila Hetcel of Dalzell, SC, Mary (Darrick) Williams of Owosso, John (Becky) Bacon of Grand Blanc, Jeremy Johnson of Fenton; fourteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; three siblings, Laverne Walsh of Fenton, Donna Stockinger of Byron, Evelyn Grube of Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews.
