MOODY, Mary Josephine Dolezel Jo, died Sunday, October 12, 2003, at age 89, at her home with her family. Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley St., Flint,  Fr. Douglas Osborn celebrant, with visitation from 9 AM until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Hospice, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flint or the The Shelter of Flint. She was born and raised in East Jordan, MI. A business owner prior to her marriage to John Moody in 1942 and mother to six children one of whom died in infancy. Jo loved her family, friends, her church and her garden. She was a good friend to many and loved by all. Her life was filled with kindness and compassion. Jo and John Moody were founding members of St. John Vianney Parish, and their five children attended elementary and high school there. Surviving are her five children: Mike of Fenton, Mary and husband Kenneth Bronston of Salt Lake City, Utah, John Terry and wife Debbie of Davison, Kathy Weener and husband Gary Haggart of Fenton, Susie and husband Robert Patton of Fenton; her six grandchildren are Bryan Moody and Michelle Moody Ball, Kate and Kelly Patton, Charlie Haggart and Duncan Moody-Bronston; her five great-grandchildren are Tori, Karlee, Emma, Ethan, and Nathanial. She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1980; three brothers; and infant son, Joseph. The family extends a special thanks to Lannelle and Ann of McLaren Hospice; and Nina, Tonya, and Gina who provided TLC and much more.
