MOTICKA, Mary Kathryn - Age 55, of Swartz Creek, died April 28, 2014. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, May 2, 2014 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Fr. Dan Kogut celebrant. Burial immediately following at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Thursday from 5-9 PM Thursday and at church Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home at 7PM Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to Mary K. Moticka Memorial Fund. Mary was born November 26, 1958 in Swartz Creek the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Toczontek) Moticka. She was a 1977 graduate of Durand High School. She had resided and worked on her families farm her entire life She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Surviving are: brothers, Fred Moticka of Swartz Creek and Dan Moticka of Linden; nephews, Michael Shepard of Durand and Robert Shepard of Flint; and cousin, Delores Williams of Davison. She was preceded in death by her parents; uncles, Charles Moticka and John Moticka; and aunts, Mary Lolli and Elizabeth Moticka.
