Mary Agnes PATRICK

April 13, 1916 — February 19, 2013

PATRICK, Mary Agnes - Age 96, of Flint Township, peacefully passed away, Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Woodhaven Senior Community in Flint Township. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 2-8 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Whaley Children's Center. Mary was born April 13, 1916 in New Haven Township, Shiawassee County to Frank and Agnes (Holek) Vykydal. As a young women Mary worked as a beautician at the Vogue Beauty Shoppe in Owosso. She married Peter W. Patrick in 1941 and traveled around the U.S. with him and his job until he was drafted in 1942. After the war she was a homemaker, raising their two children. Mary's lifelong hobby was taking pictures. Anytime you saw her she had a camera. Mary was a member of ZCBJ of Owosso, past member of Local 659 Retiree Chapter, Script 'A' Chapter, Model 'A' Restorers Club, and a charter member of the Calkins Road Birthday Club. Surviving are: daughter, Cynthia LaBombard; son, Peter and wife Linda Patrick; grandchildren, Scott and wife Amy LaBombard, Mark LaBombard, and Sara Patrick; great grandson, Zach LaBombard; step great grandchildren, Chris and Caitlyn Grojean; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter in 2005; her parents; sisters, Bessie Clifford and Mildred Zajdlik.
