Mary Sagady

SAGADY, Mary Lee Cooper -- Age 84, of Flint, died October 8, 2014. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday October 11 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-9 Friday and 12 PM until time of service on Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to Bethel Baptist Church. Mary was born January 31, 1930 in Oran, MO, the daughter of Robert Patrick and Ada Jane (Welsh) Harris. She was a graduate of Carman Ainsworth High School. She had resided in Flint for over 35 years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Most important in her life was her family. Mary is survived by her daughters, Peggy (David) Schwabauer of Swartz Creek, Sharon (John) Richard of Ohio, Susan Cooper of St. Louis MO; step-daughters, Rhonda (Charlie) Partlo of Columbiaville, Teresa (Tim) Maxwell of Florida, Sandra (Patricia) Crenshaw of Birch Run, Vicki (Bob) Schumaker of Clio; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Charley K. Cooper Jr. in 1975; husband, William Sagady in 2012 ; step-son, James Sagady.
