Mary J. STEVENS

STEVENS, Mary J. - Age 81, went to join our Lord on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 surrounded by family and friends. She was born in 1932 in Roscommon County, the daughter of David and Maude (Easlick) Allen. Mary graduated from Kearsley High School in 1949. She married Harold (Bill) Isaacson and together they had five children. She later married Jerry Stevens and they resided in Swartz Creek before retiring to Hale, MI living on Londo Lake. Mary loved her family and was a devoted mother. She made friends easily and was always eager to welcome others into her circle. Mary loved life and made the most of every moment. She loved to travel and in retirement did so extensively. Mary's last years were spent living in Linden with best friend, Priscilla Carlson. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Linden. Memorial service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, 7355 W. Silver Lake Rd., Linden, MI at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 5, 2013. Visitation from 9:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hope Lutheran Church or Genesys Hospice. Mary is survived by children, Kathryn (Keith) McCarthy, Sherry (David) Sova, Jerry (Diane) Isaacson, Bill (Mary) Isaacson, Bob (Melissa) Isaacson, Debbie (Steve) Stevens-Harp, Dan (Roxie) Stevens; grandchildren, Todd Sexton, Macee Sova, Jacqueline Isaacson, Zachary Isaacson, Shawna (Kevin) Isaacson-Gean, Travis Isaacson, Ryan (Adelia) Harp, Eric Harp; great grandchildren, Lauren, Cameron, Becca, Nicholas, Skylar, Reyna, Colton, Kaiden; best friend, Priscilla Carlson; special nieces, Debbie Tunk, Delores Green; special sister-in-law, Barb Stevens.
