WARD, Mary Jane - Age 79, of Linden, passed away May 29, 2024. The family will gather privately. Mary was born January 18, 1945 in Puxico, MO the daughter of John and Bessie Boyd. Mary retired from GHS in 2005. She enjoyed diamond art, coloring and loved cats. She and her husband, John loved traveling the country on their Gold Wing. She is survived by her children, Mark (Tina) Hemby, Miley (Les) Allen, Keith (Laurel) Ward, Bill (Sue) Hemby, Gary (Rita) Hemby and Jack (Jan) Hemby; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Allyn LaForest. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mirl Hemby; husband, John Ward; sons, David Hemby, Michael Hemby, Ed Hemby and Kenneth Ward. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
