Mary Alice Weatherford

Weatherford , Mary Alice - Age 82, of  Burton, died August 12, 2023. According to her wishes no services will be held now and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Alzhemer's Association. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center,  6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. 

Mary Alice was born May 31, 1941 in Darlington, South Carolina, the daughter of Lenox Bellamy and Fannie (Weaver) Bellamy.  She retired from McLaren Hospital in Flint with 20 years of service from 1968-1988.  Surviving are: two daughters, Mary Ellen (Russell) DiPonio of Batesville, Arkansas, and  Brenda Bryant of Burton; grandchildren, Anthony (Kristen) DiPonio, Angela (Joe) DiPonio-Smith, Marisa DiPonio, Stephanie Bryant, Sarah (John) Ruboyianes, Kimberly  (Chris) Bryant, Oliver (Jessica) Saylor, Matthew (Sarah) Weatherford, James Spell, Justin Spell, Britney (Tony) Bryant, Dillon (Anna) Spell; numerous great-grandchildren; and another one new due in November; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Murel Weatherford Jr; daughter Diane Spell;  grandson, Timothy Weatherford; sister Iola Lee; and four brothers, Cleveland, DL, Ralph and Oscar.
