Walker, Matthew E. - Age 54, of Swartz Creek, passed away April 14, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to Friends of Tawas Point Lighthouse and State Park. Matthew was born July 25, 1971, in Flint, Michigan. He was a graduate of Flushing High School. Matthew married Suzanne L. Stebbins on May 14, 2011, he worked at General Motors Delta Plant in Lansing. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed camping with his family . Surviving are: wife, Suzanne Walker; son, John (Chelsea) Love; niece, Josephina and great-niece, Natalee; mother-in-law, Rita Stebbins Wilcox; many other family members and friends that meant a lot to him.
