RICKMAN, Maury Eldon -- Age 85, of Swartz Creek, died February 25, 2013 at his residence. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Thursday February 28 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment in Bendle Cemetery, Clayton Township. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday, 12 Noon until the time of the funeral Thursday. Maury was born May 8, 1927 in Boone County WV the son of Morey Barrett Rickman and Garnet (Adkins) Rickman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from GM Truck and Bus in 1982. Surviving are: wife Geneva; son Charles (Tina) Rickman of Bancroft; daughter Judy (John) Orr of Hartland; step-children, Juanita (Mike) Dalley, Lenn (Debbie) Webb, Olin (Kristen) Webb, Larry (Michelle) Webb, Marlene Digard, Tina Webb (George Matzureff), Michael (Danette) Webb, Michael (Sharon) Boyd; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother John Rickman of Bancroft; 2 sisters, Gayle (Teddy) Thomas, Martha "Mickie" (Bill) Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret in 1982; sister Marguarite Whisman; brother Cerbert Lovejoy; grandson, Charles Rickman Jr; granddaughter Katie Webb.
