Maxwell Charles Lemcool, Jr.

Maxwell Charles Lemcool, Jr., age 78 of Columbiaville, passed away at home, with his family by his side, on August 13, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan. The family will receive guests at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Maxwell to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or Carriage Town Ministries (www.carriagetown.org). Please note that due to an allergy within the family, floral tributes with carnations in them cannot be accepted.

Maxwell was born on December 30, 1944 in Montrose, Michigan to the late Maxwell Charles and Virginia Rae (Ackerman) Lemcool. He married Diana Sue (Harris) in 1965 and Maxwell began his career with General Motors.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Diana. Children, Tracy (Roy) Vick and Matthew Lemcool. Grandchildren, Valerie (Terry) Gerow and Joshua (Crystal) Long. Great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Alivia, Ava and Bentley. Siblings; Karen (Don) Harris; Thelma Nations; Marsha Williams; Gloria (Jerry) Teeple; April (Mark) Diamond, Beverly (Steve) Williams, Connie (Dana) McBride, Raeann (Carl) Sherman; Mark (Linda) Lemcool; and John (Renee) Lemcool. Sisters-in-law, Leanna (Jerry) Doyle and Joanna (Rick) Young. Brothers-in-law, Steven Harris. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Lemcool was preceded in death by his parents; Mother and Father-in-law. Great-granddaughter, Maxwell Diana. Brother. Cliff Lemcool. Brothers-in-law, Tom Harris; Doug Nations; John Williams; and Alan Doyle. Nephews, Joe Nations; David Boyd; and Jeremy Young.
