Barajas, Mercedes Lynn - Age 34, of Genesee, Michigan, passed away June 11, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, June 19, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48507. The funeral service may be viewed by livestream from a link at Mercedes' obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM Friday, June 19 at the funeral home.

Mercedes was born February 19, 1992 in Flint, Michigan. She is the daughter of David Barajas and Terra (Beaver) Burgess. Mercedes was a 2010 graduate of Genesee High School. Mercedes had a friendly, outgoing personality and she enjoyed life. She loved the outdoors and going fishing. She enjoyed playing and watching sports. Mercedes enjoyed pool, bingo and going to the casino.

She is survived by her son, Kayden Jay; daughter, Ava Lynn; father, Dave (Trina) Barajas; mother, Terra Burgess; siblings, Courtney (Garrett) Dajcs, Zachery Barajas, and Jerry Maupin; grandparents, Dale and Pamela Stewart; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; niece, Aubree; and nephew, Waylon.

She was preceded in death by brother, Jacob Moore; grandparents, Ruthie and Larry Blevins; and cousin, Sadie Blevins.
