Micah Christopher IVEY

IVEY, Micah Christopher - age 24, of Park City, UT and Linden, MI, died Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at McLaren-Oakland Hospital. Services will be held 2 PM Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Pastor Larry Schell officiating. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Friday and 2-4 and 6-9 PM Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gift of Life or McLaren - Oakland Trauma Center. Micah was born February 23, 1989 in Sun Valley, ID. He was a 2007 graduate of Linden High School and attended the University of The Awesome. Micah was currently Head Ski Coach of the Wasatch Project in Utah. Micah had a love of life and outdoor sports. He was a great friend, coach and mentor to many. Surviving are: mother and step-father, Aprill O'Connell and Marty Vyskocil of Linden; father, Shelley Ivey, IV of CT; grandparents, Shelley and Mary Ellen Ivey of MA; Godparents, Mariann Ivey Schell and Joseph Christopher O'Connell; special friend, Danyella Owens; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
