Michael Austin Desgrange

Michael Austin Desgrange, of Flint, passed away on October 16, 2026, at Hurley Medical Center. He was 54 years old.

Born March 21, 1972, in Dallas, Texas, he was the son of James Michael and Jacqueline (Rust) Desgrange. Michael was a retired law enforcement officer. He was passionate about playing the guitar, was a movie buff especially Marvel movies, but most of all he was a proud “Grimpaw” that loved spending time with his grandchildren and would show pictures to anyone that he could.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy Desgrange; three sons Tobias Desgrange (Jayden), Jacob Desgrange and Benjamin Desgrange; bonus children, Milton Gray, Jewel Gray, Savannah Littlejohn, Jayden Moore and Skia Moore; siblings Jacob Desgrange (Erin), Chrissy Roberts (Slim) and Adam Desgrange; and 13 grandchildren, Addison, Kylie, Waylan, Melah, Mayvin, Jasper, Jaylah, Salyus, Shy’Aire, Sy’Aire, Rowan, Evelyn and Nox; as well as numerous nieces nephews and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
