Michael Howard Fisher

Fisher, Michael Howard - Age 65, of Flint Township, died February 25, 2026.

Memorial visitation will be held 4-7 PM Monday March 2 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48507. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Karmanos Cancer Institute, Flint.

Michael was born April 22, 1960 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Kenneth LeRoy Fisher and Kathleen Eva (Quelch) Fisher. He graduated from Ainsworth High School Class of 1978. He then worked on the oil rigs in Texas. He was a graduate of Macomb College for the Trades. He was a member of the International Painter and Allied Trades Union. Michael loved being at the cabin in Houghton Lake and working on his boat. He was a great woodworker. He was a big MSU and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed golfing.

Surviving are: four children, Lynn (Jeremy) Wood, Melissa Fisher, Michelle (Justin) Spaans, Michael (Amelia) Fisher Jr; grandchildren, Baylee Wood, Blayke Wood, Hudson Wood; sisters, Tammy (Bob) Johnson, Clarissa Sargent; sister-in-law Dawn Fisher; step-mother Phyllis Fisher; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth; mother Kitty; and brother Fred.
