Michael Douglas Hampton

  HAMPTON, Michael Douglas - Age 57, of Fenton, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024.  Graveside services will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly.  Those desiring may make contributions to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.  Michael was born November 26, 1966 in Fenton, the son of Donald and Diane (Sattler) Hampton.  He was a 1985 graduate of Fenton High School.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  He enjoyed traveling, science, history and music (Karaoke).  Surviving are: his children, Kirsten Taylor (Eugene H.) of Flint, Shellby Veal (Benjamin Barritt) of Marcus, IA and Kellie Veal of Flint; grandchildren, Rylee, Jagger and Ahri; 4 siblings; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Diane Hampton.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhome
