Michael Donald LAWRENCE

LAWRENCE, Michael Donald - Age 58, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-9 PM and Thursday from 12:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Michael was born April 5, 1954 in Flint, the son of Donald and Catherine (Sutika) Lawrence. He married Debra Sue LaMay September 23, 1972 and she preceded him in death July 7, 2010. He had been employed by GM Truck and Bus. Michael had resided in Swartz Creek for the past 20 years coming from Flushing. Surviving are: 2 daughters, Mika and husband Ryan Heslop of Montrose and Shannon and husband Darrell Sims of Swartz Creek; 4 grandchildren, Alexis, Zoe, Ethan, and Nicholas; mother, Catherine Lawrence of Swartz Creek; sister, Vickie Lawrence of Swartz Creek; brother, David Lawrence; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
