Michael Lee Sian

Michael Lee Sian, age 58, of Linden, passed away on July 18, 2025. A private gathering will be held at a future date to honor and celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests that those who wish to honor Michael's memory consider supporting Stomp Out Sarcoma 2025 (https://michiganmedicine.donordrive.com/events/729) under the team name "Heart and Sole."

Michael was born on January 31, 1967, in Midland, to the late Thomas E. and Nancy C. (Weers/Greminger) Sian. He was married to Julie Ann Sahr on October 6, 1995, sharing a beautiful journey together filled with love and laughter. As a passionate hockey enthusiast, Michael dedicated his time and energy to organizing summer skates and establishing a girls' hockey league in Midland. He was a dedicated Yankees, Red Wings and Michigan fan.

A truly caring spirit, Michael dedicated many years to working with individuals with disabilities, embodying compassion and kindness in all he did. His family was his pride and joy, and nothing brought him greater happiness than spending time with his children and grandchildren, who were his greatest accomplishments.

Michael leaves behind his loving wife, Julie; cherished children, Michael P. (Courtney) Harris, Kayla R. (Luke) Harrison, Larissa M. Sian, and Tyler M. (Heidi) Sian; and adored grandchildren, Abel Harris, Cole Harris, Brady Sian, Autumn Harris, Nolan Sian, William Harrison, and baby Sian, who is expected to arrive in September. He is also survived by his beloved sisters, Deborah (Bob) Deistch, Sandra (Todd) Dunbar, Chris (Ken) Longstreith, numerous nieces and nephews, and his special friend, Keith Brooks.
