Michell DeRosia

Michell A. DeRosia, age 62, of Burton, left our arms but not our hearts on November 27, 2025.

Michell adored her children and family above all else. She found joy in the simple and beautiful moments of life, watching the sunsets in Boyne City, taking a lucky spin on the casino slots, and surrounding herself with family. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply, and she had a way of extending that love to so many others, becoming an “extra mom” to anyone who needed one.

Michell had a heart of gold. She was strong, resilient, and a fighter through every challenge. She treasured watching football with her son and traveling with her daughters, sharing countless moments of laughter and making memories they will hold close forever. She was truly loved and adored by all who knew her.

Michell is survived by her children, Jana Sulkowski, Anthony DeRosia, and Jessica DeRosia; her grandchildren, Destiny Wisdom, Alana Sulkowski, Christian DeRosia, Vincent DeRosia, Brayden DeRosia, Jasper DeRosia, Piper DeRosia, and Kian DeRosia; her brother Michael Nichols; and many other beloved family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jan Alden and Wanda Joyce (Broadway) Nichols; and her brothers, Mitchell and Matthew Nichols.

Michell’s love, strength, and sparkle will remain with her family always.

In honoring her wish to be cremated, the family will not be holding services at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, MI.
