GAVAR, Mildred Estelle - Age 88, of Grand Blanc, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Genesys Health Park. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet or a hospice of your choice. Mrs. Gavar was born October 6, 1922 in Goldsboro, NC, the daughter of Herbert and Ruby Estelle (Sasser) Grice. She married Louis John Gavar May 23, 1943 in Norfolk, VA and he preceded her in death January 18, 1988. Surviving are: 4 children, Linda Diane Herr and husband Robert of Lake Orion, Louis John Gavar, Jr. and wife Debby of Tustin, CA, Michael Thomas Gavar and wife Terise of Traverse City and Debra Jean Bresler and husband Mark of Grand Blanc; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister, Hilda Anderson and husband Tom of Goldsboro, NC; several nieces and nephews.
