Mildred F. Ribarchik

RIBARCHIK, Mildred F. (Viles) - Age 90, of Swartz Creek, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, July 15, 2024 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Burial in Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, MI. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4-8 PM and at church Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service. A Rosary will be prayed at the funeral home Sunday at 7:00 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. 

Mildred was born May 16, 1934 in Ashley, MI the daughter of Otis Russell and Libby Agnes (Smith) Viles. She married James D. Ribarchik May 6, 1961 in Bannister, MI and he preceded her in death December 8, 2008. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, baking, music and arts and crafts. 

Surviving are: her sons, David Lawrence Ribarchik and Daniel Joseph Ribarchik both of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Amanda Ribarchik and Joshua Ribarchik both of Tennessee; great grandchildren, Damion and Dakota; sister, Rosalie Sanford; brothers, Otis F. Viles and Paul Viles; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was also preceded in death by her parents; second mother, Rose Viles; daughters, Laura and Robin Ribarchik; sister, Joanne Kushner; and brother, Nelson Wilson. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
