Mildred Onnie SNIDER

SNIDER, Mildred Onnie, age 82, of Flint, passed away Wednesday, Junes 16, 2010 at Homewood Assisted Living. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Mike A. Prince officiating. Internment will follow at Bendle Cemetery, Clayton Township. Visitation will be Friday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Association. Mildred was born January 22, 1928 in Campbell, Missouri the daughter of the late Ira and Jewell (Davis) Thomas. She married Donald V. Snider in Flint on January 22, 1957. Mildred has resided in Flint since 1963. She enjoyed reading, gardening and baseball and was a member of Carman-Ainsworth Senior Center. Surviving are her husband, Don Snider of Flint; daughter, Donna (Steven) Kunkle of Flint; grandaughters, Lauren (Ben) Dunbar of Fenton and Kristen (Matthew) McCrandall of Flint; Great Granddaughter Claire Dunbar; Sisters, Mary Lou Stachion of New Mexico , Margaret Gildewell of Arkansas; brother Ira (Norma) Thomas of Arkansas.
