Mrs. Willie Mae Taylor

TAYLOR, Mrs. Willie Mae - Age 85, of Fenton, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 12, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, MI 48451 (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Willie's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Steve Clapp officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 PM and Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Willie was born February 6, 1941 in Rives, Missouri, the daughter of Paul and Katie (Sparks) Kershaw. She was a 1959 graduate of Fenton High School. She married Richard William Taylor February 7, 1959 in Fenton and he preceded her in death April 4, 2023. She had resided in Fenton for the past 77 years coming from Missouri. Willie retired from Kmart in Fenton after 30 plus years of service. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are: her sons, Daniel and wife, Lisa Taylor and Kenny and wife, Danna Taylor both of Fenton; grandchildren, Amy (Ryan) Ford, Chad (Ali) Taylor, Megan Taylor, and Madasen Taylor; great grandchildren, Sophia, Eliana, Nora, and Briggs; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Katie Kershaw; siblings, Dorothy Orth, Palmer Kershaw, and Edward Kershaw. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
