Nancy C. Fiebernitz

FIEBERNITZ, Nancy C.  Age 65, of Flint, passed away Friday, June 20, 2003 peacefully at her home with her family by her side. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial Celebration of Life service will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 26, 2003 at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Rev. Arthur Oberg officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Memorial Fund of Westminster Presbyterian Church or McLaren Hospice. Nancy was born December 24, 1937, the daughter of Harry and OnnaLee (Torrey) Gatenby. She had resided in Flint her entire life. She married Melvin G. Fiebernitz on February 23, 1957. Nancy worked for Buick for six years and later worked 24 years for the Flint Board of Education, retiring in 1998. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and served as a deacon and elder. She loved spending time with her family and going up north to their cabin on the lake. Nancy leaves to cherish: her loving husband, Melvin; two daughters, Kathy and husband, Frank Krupa, Julie and husband, Jon DeGroot of Flint; son, Brian and wife, Laura of Dearborn; eight grandchildren, Jeremy and Melissa Brown, Mandi, Crystal and Nick DeGroot, Andrew, Alexis and Travis Fiebernitz.
