Naomi Bea PELTONEN

PELTONEN, Naomi Bea, age 81, of Grand Blanc, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at home. Family will have private services at a later date. Naomi was born June 14, 1931 in Popular Bluff, Missouri the daughter of the late Loyd and Ines (De'Journett) Byrd. She married George Peltonen on June 17, 1972 in Grand Blanc. Naomi and her husband owned and operated Peltonen Adult Foster Care Homes in Genesee County from 1977 until 1990. Naomi was a wonderful, loving and a generous person. She was a great business person and a good teacher. She will be missed dearly and remembered forever. Surviving are her loving husband, George; 4 children, Alan, Brenda, Kaye, Debra; 15 grandchildren, Noel, Andrea, Elizabeth, Michael, Lyric, Daniel, Tammy, Jeff, Diana, Rachel, Samantha, Tiffany, Telisa, Terry, Jeremy; 30 great-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Terry Byrd; 3 sisters, Vera, Flossie, Etta Belle.
