Nayef Aboujamra

ABOUJAMRA, Nayef Majalli - age 96, of Flint, died Thursday, October 15, 2015 at McLaren - Flint. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, October 19, 2015 at St. George Orthodox Church, 5191 Lennon Rd., Flint with the Very Rev. Father Joseph M. Abud officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with a Trisagion Service at 7 PM Sunday. Mr. Aboujamra was born December 20, 1918 in Marjeyoune, Lebanon, the son of Majalli and Salimi (Jarawan) Aboujamra. He was employed as a State Police officer in Lebanon and married Hawa Farah. They moved to the United States in 1970. He worked at Mitchell's Supermarket for many years. Surviving are: wife, Hawa Farah Aboujamra; 4 children, Renee Lahoud, Michael (Gretchen) Aboujamra, Nawal (Robert) Gebrael, Ghassan (Safa) Aboujamra; 9 grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Augette, Alain, Nadeem, Tony, Chris, Lena, and Danielle; 7 great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Venessa, James, Anthony, Paris, Isaac, and Anna; brother, Youseph; 2 sisters, Ejeni and Jeanette, all of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by: his parents; 2 sons, Raymond and Robert; 4 brothers, George, Rev. Fr. Botrous, Brahim, and Kamel; son-in-law, Joseph Lahoud; and grandson, Milad Lahoud.
