Niki Michelle Boka

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Niki Boka, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend, who lost her courageous battle with cancer on November 29, 2025 at the age of 57. She was surrounded by her loving family, who will forever cherish the memories they shared.

Niki was born on July 24, 1968 in Flint, MI to Terry Brimmer and Jacque Rouse. She grew up in Genesee, MI, graduating from Genesee High School in 1986. Niki resided in Davison, MI where she raised her three children - Bryan, Emily, and Alison - whom she shared with their father and former spouse of 27 years, Darin Boka. Niki later settled in Linden, MI, and pursued a career with Ally Financial, where she cultivated many meaningful friendships as an Executive Assistant.

Throughout her life, Niki was known for her larger than life personality, dance moves, love for Jesus, and words of encouragement and wisdom. Niki was devoted to living a fulfilling life, and she always made time for her ‘tribe’, nurturing them with her love and wisdom.

She is survived by parents Jacque and Dennis Rouse, siblings Mark (Andrea) Brimmer, CJ (Shannon) Brimmer, Dennis (Joanna) Rouse, Denise (Chuck) Millard, Dena Rouse, children Bryan Boka, Emily (Zech) Kosa, Alison (Jacob) Connolly, grandchildren Cooper, Eloise, Claire, Sadie, and Hallie, nieces and nephew Samantha, Peyton, Nora, Alyssa, Aryana, and Jordan, along with many cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Ray and Della Louise Crawford, father Terry Brimmer, sister Deanna Klann, uncle John Crawford, and grandson Warren Connolly.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 4-8pm at Sharp Funeral Home in Fenton (1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430). A celebration of Niki’s life, officiated by Pastors Chad and Amy Amoss, will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 2pm at The Rock Church in Fenton (11499 Linden Rd, Fenton, MI 48430).

Everyone is welcome to come and share their stories and memories. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the family, or charity/organization of your choice in Niki’s name.

Though Niki may have left us physically, her spirit will continue to live on in our hearts and the many lives she touched. Her light will forever shine brightly in our memories.

Rest in peace, our dear Niki. You will be missed beyond measure.
