Nona Blake Larock

LaRock, Nona Mae Blake- Age 86, of  Mt. Morris, died December 23, 2022. Visitation will be held 2-5 PM Thursday, December 29 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center,  6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Burial will be held privately at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris.

Nona was born June 6, 1936 in Millington, Michigan, the daughter of Norman Summerfield and Clara (Kinney) Summerfield. She was a graduate of Clio High School and had attended Mott Community College. She was a Registered Nurse and worked at Fostrian Manor for 20 years. Two of her favorites, were reading and celebrating Christmas.

Surviving are: children, Robert (Chris) Blake, Debra Robertson, Kathy (Don) Berry, Barbara (Bryan) Christie, Steven ( Sherri) Blake, David (Tonya) Blake, Fred (Ron) Snooks; fourteeen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brother Russell (Carol) Summerfield; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Richard Summerfield; son-in-law, Mark Robertson; and husband Walter James Blake.
