Norma Jean JAQUES

JACQUES, Norma Jean -- Age 85, of Flint Township, died December 30, 2013. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, January 6, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly . Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday, 12-1 PM Monday. Norma was born January 6, 1928 in Montrose, IL, the daughter of Frank and Gladys (Glosser) Dittamore. She was a graduate of Flint Central High School and a lifelong resident of Flint Township. She married John Jaques on July 6, 1946 on Flint. She worked as a Loan Officer and Branch Manager for Security Federal Credit Union for 23 years retiring in 1990. Norma liked quilting, stained glass, ceramics and sewing and she also loved to travel. Surviving are: husband of 67 years, John; son James and wife Vicki of Swartz Creek; daughter Cindy and husband Rod Wagoner of Swartz Creek; three grandsons, Jason Jaques, Justin Sari, Brandon Sari.
