Norma L. Simmons

Simmons, Norma L. - Age 89, of Linden, passed away July 2, 2026. Graveside services will be held 11 AM Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Fairview Cemetery in Linden. Arrangements entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, MI 48451. Norma was born July 13, 1936, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Leslie and Agnes (Carney) Sills. She was a graduate of Flint Central High School. Norma married William R. Simmons on September 5, 1959, and he preceded her in death on January 19, 2018. She worked at Flint Osteopathic Hospital and Murphy's Department Store in Linden. Surviving are: son, Clifford (Jill) Simmons; grandchildren, Zachary (Tyler) Simmons, Autumn Simmons, Laurel, Matthew, and Leanne Sleeper, David Emmert, Sarah (Jason) Dasky, Misty Emmert, and Kelly McMillian; great grandchildren, Noha, Caitlyn and Warren; special friends, Mike Dahl and Robin Appleton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Carl, Hubert, Harold, Bill, and Larry Sills; daughters, Mary and Jacqueline (Dan) Emmert, and grandson Dave McMillian.
