TICE, Norman DeWayne - Age 88, of Linden, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, surrounded by family at his home. Norman was born on September 16, 1926, the son of Claude and Emma (Goldbeck) Tice. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Norman married Patricia Bronson on November 23, 1957 in Fenton. He was a lifelong resident of the Fenton/Linden area and was self-employed as a master mechanic for 55 years. Norman spent many years being involved in the church, and the cornerstone of his life was faith and service to the Lord Jesus Christ. Norman often reached out to others in hopes of leading them to the Lord. Surviving are his beloved wife of 57 years, Patricia; 4 children, Laurie Torrey of Linden, Norma (Patrick) Lamotte of Holland, Amy (David) Gilley of Kentucky, and Theodore (Molly) Tice of Linden; 5 grandchildren, Bonnie Lamotte, Jonathan Torrey, Andrew Torrey, Bridget Grabowski and Griffin Grabowski; 3 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Martha Clark of Fenton, Helen Uffelman of Fenton, Joyce Ann (Ron) Bigelow of Fremont, and Doris (John) Colburn of Grandville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Raymond. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 29 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Friday and 10 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
