Obituary for Mary L. Plieskatt

PLIESKATT, Mary L. (Council) - Age 87, of Flint, died Tuesday November 7, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint in the spring.

Mary was born May 9, 1930 in Orient, IL, the daughter of Mildred (Garrett) Wagner. She was the oldest of four children. Mary moved to Flint in 1951 to start working for General Motors, AC Division, where she worked for 34 years before retiring in July of 1985. She was a proud member of the Local 651. Mary loved going to church and reading her many bibles. She also enjoyed reading novels and the many religious books she owned.

Surviving are: 3 children, Sherry (Council) Soper of Mt. Morris, Laura (Council) Bunting and husband Mike of Clio, Dennis Council and wife Terri (Hilden) of Clio; 6 grandchildren, Tony Kopacz and wife Jennifer of Brooklyn, MI, Matthew Bunting and wife Stephanie of Flushing, Michelle (Bunting) Landon of Clio, Garret Bunting and wife Allison of Clio, Trevor Council of Clio, Emee Council of Clio; 10 great-grandchildren, Trenton Quigley, Blake Kopacz, Logan, Owen, and Paili Bunting, Alexa and Brody Landon, Aiden, Madison, and Jaxen Bunting.
