Pamela Theresa (Flynn) Waitt

Pamela Theresa (Flynn) Waitt, age 72, of Swartz Creek, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at home, surrounded by her family.

A celebration of life will take place at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 5, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday. Service will be live streamed and can be view on Pamela's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. Pamela was born on February 23, 1954, in Chelsea, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Martin and Carmen (Osborn) Flynn. She graduated from Beverly High School Massachusetts and attended vocational school, where she trained to become a phlebotomist. Pamela worked in health care for 36 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the VFW Auxiliary. While living in Las Vegas, she was also involved in the women's studies group at the United Methodist Church.

In her free time, Pamela enjoyed reading, baking, and traveling, especially going on cruises. She cherished spending time with her family, capturing memories through photographs at family gatherings, and relaxing on the beach.

Pamela is survived by her son, Matthew Waitt and his husband, David Haines; three brothers, Mark and his wife, Stacey, Brian, and Kevin and his wife, Irene Flynn; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

In addition to her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her first husband, John Waitt; her second husband, Richard Verley; and her brother, Martin Flynn.
