Pastor Vernon Lee WARD Jr.

Ward, Pastor Vernon Lee Jr. - Age 67, of Flint, died Monday, December 16, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10:00 am until time of service Saturday. Vernon was born August 16, 1946 in Dudley, Missouri, the son of the late Vernon Lee Sr. and Blanche (Hale) Ward. Vernon was an ordained minister, serving the Genesee county area for many years. He worked at GM Metal Fab for 38 1/2 years retiring in 2005. He loved Fishing. Surviving are: wife Susan Ward of Flint; step-son, John K. Hoodlet of Ontario, Canada; brothers, Mitchell (Debra) Ward of Clio, Michael (Teresa) Ward of Linden; many nieces and nephews.
