Patricia Annette Blakemore, age 79, of Swartz Creek, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Monday, June 22, 2026. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at a later date.

Patricia was born on August 27, 1946, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Roy and Pearl (Collier) Ault. She graduated from Northeast High School in Lincoln, Nebraska, with the Class of 1965. Following her education, she met, dated, fell in love with, and married the love of her life, Thomas Blakemore, on October 30, 1965, in Lincoln.

Patricia was a devoted Christian whose faith served as the foundation of her life. She lived with kindness, grace, and an unwavering love for her family. She dedicated 31 years of service to the United States Postal Service as a rural carrier in Grand Blanc, retiring in 2002. In her younger years, she cherished camping, traveling, and spending time boating with her husband. She was a devoted fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on. In her free time, Patricia enjoyed scrapbooking and collecting her favorite pieces of jewelry.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Thomas; two sons, Thomas R. (Kelly) Blakemore and Dennis J. Blakemore; four grandchildren, Ariel Blakemore, Trevor Blakemore, Evan (Kat) Blakemore, and Haley (Ray) Hernandez; and six great-grandchildren, Leo, Nova, Koda, Isabella, Sven, and Juniper.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Chad M. Blakemore, and her two brothers, Clyde and Roy Ault.

Patricia's family finds comfort in knowing that her steadfast faith carried her throughout her life and that she is now at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
