Patricia L. Borst

Patricia L. (Thayer) Borst- Age 95, of Lennon, passed away June 1, 2026. A committal service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Yerian Cemetery in Lennon, MI. Arrangements entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes- Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.

Patricia was born February 16, 1931, in Flint, Michigan to the late Charles Edward and Frieda Ida (Schipansky) Thayer. She spent many years serving the Lennon community as a librarian at the Perkins Library, and she proudly supported her local library as an active member of the Friends of the Library group.

Patricia is survived by her daughters Debra (Dave) Schuyler and Denise (Ralph) Turner; daughter-in-law Dana Borst; grandchildren Breanne (James) Byram, Jeffrey (Katlyn) Turner, Michael (Melissa) Schuyler, Nicholas (Ally) Borst and Frank (Angel) Borst; great-grandchildren Logan Byram, Kain Byram, Elizabeth Turner, Charlotte Turner, Monroe Schuyler, Mack Schuyler, Aubrey Borst, Noah Borst, Brighton Borst, Oaklan Borst, and Bryson Borst; siblings Donna Swerdan, Shirley (Carl) Norberg and Ronnie (Nancy) Thayer; sisters-in-law Mary Ann Thayer, Diane Thayer and Daisy Thayer; and several nieces, nephews and close friends.

She is preceded in death by husband Frank W. Borst; son Robert W. Borst; brothers Clarence Thayer, Chuck Thayer, Calvin Thayer and Donald Thayer; and sister-in-law Barb Thayer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Perkins Library of Lennon in memory of Patricia.
