Fizell, Patricia Louise- Age 86, a longtime resident of Flint, passed away peacefully April 9, 2024. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Patricia was born October 5, 1937 in Petoskey, Michigan to the late Merritt and Ormynda (Hulbert) Burns. She graduated from Petoskey High School and went on to become a licensed practical nurse. Patricia married Roland "Ron" Fizell on May 29, 1958, they were married for 61 years. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Patricia was very active in the Flint running scene as a participant, Crim volunteer, and a member of Gault Race Management. She is survived by her children, Edward (Julie) Fizell of Flint, Timothy (Kim) Fizell of Goodrich, and Cynthia (Kenneth) Wright of Murfreesboro, TN.; grandchildren, Megan (Jon Goh) Fizell, Joseph (Marina) Fizell, Brian (Jill) Bourcier, Kristen (Bobby) Kelly, and Nicole (Logan) Hess; great-grandchildren, Brae Bourcier, Bailey Bourcier, and Julian Fizell; sibling, Fred (Judi) Burns; many friends from her running group.
